BMW GINA Light Visionary Model

I’m impressed with a lot of things about this concept.  First, weight issues, you can’t tell me that your carbon fiber hood is going to be any lighter than a cloth with a ribbing structure.  Second, cost, imagine the cost to both your pocket book and to the environment if this was a common practice among auto makers.  Lastly, no more dings or dents!  Seriously, why the hell would my bike fall right on to me door like that :(  This could eliminate all the minor body work that that seems tiny, but ruins the look of the car and is crazy expensive.  BMW get this thing made already.
