I woke up this morning and was perplexed by a big new traffic source to mayorfight.com – CNN! Doug Gross wrote an article about the different check-in services that are popping up beyond location, such as sharing tv shows, books, and movies. In the third paragraph, Doug describes Foursquare, 

Let’s face it — most of us aren’t hitting The Scratcher, Foursquare founder Dennis Crowley’s favorite East Village watering hole, every other night or battling to be the “mayor” of our neighborhood coffeehouse.

That happy little link put a smile on my face, and hopefully some new mayorships in the pockets of the growing number of Mayor Fight fans.

Last week a couple of blog write ups, this week a CNN mention, next week I expect a call from Obama telling me he stole the White House Mayorship using Mayor Fight.
