IRS Hires its First CTO →
The IRS needs to jump into the Web 2.0 spectrum.  Imagine entering your username and password for your bank and investing websites into an IRS.gov and having it go and retrieve all of your financial information automaticall much like Mint already does.  It’s on your shoulder now, Terence.

EtherPad: Realtime Collaborative Text Editing →
This is a really cool quick way to collaborate on a simple text doc.  I am constantly writting emails and sending them back and forth for editing and corrections before they are finally sent off, this puts a live screen in front of each editor.  Hard to describe, but great to use.
