Thrillist is great about adding two funny hyperquotes to their emails. Todays was too good not to share.

I appreciate older generations always seeing the best in gen-Y, however there are plenty of us a little more tied to the current financial struggle than his indie film loving son.

Google Book Search Agreement →
I believe this falls into the chategorie of easier to just go after something and beg for forgiveness than to ask for permission. If Google would have proposed this deal to the writters and copywright holders do you think they would have ever agreed to any price structure? Would they have held out for more money?

Why Google’s Partners Should Be Worried →
Some quick shots of Google’s profits baised from partner or internal revenue. The article depicts the negative side of the partners “loosing” some from their side. I however look at this as a great compliment to Google and their developing of an attractive network that gives users more and more reasons to be on Google branded sites. I’ve stated before all the various...

As we scarily look deeper and deeper into an economic train wreck I’ve tried thinking of things I could most easily eliminate and the absolute easiest thing is cable TV. It seems every great show is online now for free and the premium shows I love, ENTOURAGE, can be bought on DVD quite esily and cheeply compared to a year’s worth of service charges.
Google Apps Unseats Incumbent Microsoft Office in... →
“If DC’s willingness to abandon Microsoft Office indicates that Google Apps’ user base has truly moved beyond bleeding-edge adopters, this could mark the beginning of a very interesting trend.”
You will not see this coming. WOW.
Some pictures from the Banksy Pet Shop Exhibit. I absolutely loved it. Pictures do this thing zero justice, if your at all capable of seeing this before October 31, check it out.

Turns out I’m not actually cool enough to ride my bike in the city, says the Fashion & Style NY Times piece.
I thought I was just getting around the city in the most efficient and cheap way possible, apparently this “bike culture” has much higher standards than that.
What a joke

And The Top Mobile Social Networks Are... →
This is all I could think of as more and more money was poured into Loopt and Whirl and every other mobile social network sites. If you give people the choice, they are going to use what they already do. With Facebook and Myspace creating great looking apps that work great with what the network the people have already built up and use, then why would a person go through the hasstle of sining up...
Angel Investor Roger Ehrenberg: Want My Money?... →
The rules of Angel investing are taking a bit of a shift. The same people are making the investments, but a new breed of “money fast” companies are gaining more attention than a “people fast” of the years before. Facebook being the “people fast” side, who knows what the great next “money fast” company will be.
